Current Goal

To travel the globe visiting traditional caches far and wide and accompanying geocachers who find them. Please only place me in traditional caches and don't leave me in the bottom of a backpack for a long time. Photos of my epic adventures and the places I visit would be fanastic too.

About This Item

Traditional Cache Geocoin

This geocoin is one of the new series of Cache Type icon coins. These full size coins are 1 and 3/4 inches in diameter and feature a beautiful new series of designs. With a nickel base and engraved red writing the pictures (a Tupperware cache box on the front and a compass design on the back) are enamelled in green and blue.

A Traditional cache is the original geocache type consisting of, at minimum, a container and a log book or logsheet. Larger containers generally include items for trade. “Nano” or “micro” caches are tiny containers that only hold a logsheet. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page provide the geocache’s exact location.The final location is a physical container.
