The Blue Bus is DPHickey's wife's van. It's what we use to haul the kids and all the things that go with kids from place to place. The goal of this travel bug is to get the family to go with me caching and this is the means to get us there. I'd love to get the wife and kids to some of the more outdoors caches that get out of the house and on a trail hiking.
This trackable will follow the Blue Bus, our family van, during his caching adventures.
Here are the rules we will try to follow:
1) If you've encountered The Blue Bus and found the tracking code, lucky you, ignore what you might see inside the van, what the kids do to the interior is not a pretty thing. Log your discovery but please keep it as that . . . if you log that you picked up the item, well you have probably stranded the family in some remote place.....
2) If I take pictures of places we visit I'll try to post them on this trackables page.
3) If visiting a cluster of caches in the area, the trackable itself will only visit one of the caches there to keep the distance traveled reasonable. Such a calculation is likely to be off as it will not adhere to highways, though.
4) Even if the cache is not found (something that happens a lot with DPHickey as he is not very good yet) we will log The Blue Bus as having visited the area to keep track of the mileage.*
