Canadian Badlands Prairie Winds Geocoin

Got my first ever FTF today and met TwoElkers at the cache. As we finished up logging the cache, they said they would be happy to move this coin up towards Phoenix next week and since I will not be caching too much in the near future, I was happy to hand it over to them. Good travels coin, I will be watching.

Well what an interesting evening! Off we, Canadian Badlands Prairie Winds Geocoin and I, went to a local, Tucson geocaching meet and greet. Who should we meet there, but the coins owner who is here from Canada for a stay!! It was great to meet her and hear the story behind the coin! Several times in geocaching, I have crossed paths with people and/or their trackables or caches. Great fun, this game is. Had a nice time, met several new people, discovered and traded trackables, but when it came to the end, I just wasn't ready to have someone else retrieve this one! Just a few more miles!!!

Came across this gorgeous coin in Gila Monster outside Globe, Arizona today. Couldn't resist picking it up to move it back towards home with me in Tucson, Arizona. Several connections here. I have been on the road for 11 days and I kinda feel like I have been traveling like the wind, just here and there. I saw the badlands in Petrified Forest National Park yesterday and had the good fortune to see several herds of Pronghorn over the past couple of days. And I love windmills. I have a Challenge down here in Tucson for people to take photos of a local windmill. Too many connections, so I will move it with me for awhile. Thanks for sharing. If the owner has any special requests, please let me know....each cache, just a couple, with a saguaro, etc.
