Ok...so after much trail and tribulation, I replaced this one after losing the last version of it (the one with the skating Barbie doll). The main reason was due to the doll's size, many of the caches that I found were just too small to fit it into...and after holding on to it for so long, I eventually misplaced it.*
Anyway, I contacted the owner after fruitlessly looking for it, and now I present the latest incarnation of this USA Geocoin. I've made it about as small as possible, while still attaching a geocoin explanation tag as well as a small tag-along buddy. Seeing as it IS an American Geocoin, and since its current journey takes it back east to Delaware, one of the first 13 Colonies, I thought that a miniature version of the Liberty Bell would be fun to attach.
This bell itself has a little history of its own; it was used at my sister's wedding to wish them a happy life together as they left the reception and drove off to their honeymoon. And now, the bell gets to have a little adventure of its own!
I'll probably be dropping it off somewhere soon...but I'll try to upload some photos of our geocaching adventures before I do.
*My little boy really liked the doll...I wouldn't be surprised it he stashed it somewhere unbeknownst to me.
