Groundhopping ist eine Sammelleidenschaft von Fußballfans (Groundhoppern), bei der es darum geht, Spiele in möglichst vielen verschiedenen Stadien zu besuchen. Die Szene ist weitgehend unorganisiert, einheitliche Regeln gibt es kaum. Der Begriff wird inzwischen auch von Fans anderer Sportarten verwendet.

Nachdem der Trackable nun zum zweiten Mal in Polen verlorenen gegangen ist, ändere ich mein Ziel und starte als weitere Kopie neu.
Vermutlich war hier Neid und Mißgunst über die deutschen internationalen Fußballtitel im Spiel! 

Mein neues Ziel: Ich möchte so viele Fußballplätze/-stadien auf der ganzen Welt besuchen und viele, viele Bilder davon nach Hause schicken!

Groundhopping is a hobby that involves attending matches at as many different stadiums or grounds as possible. Participants are known as groundhoppers, hoppers or travellers. Largely a football-related pastime, groundhopping probably found its origin in football in the 1970s in England. From the late 1980s fans in Germany started groundhopping as well. Currently it is especially popular in the United Kingdom. Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway. There is no universal set of rules for counting ‘hopped grounds’, although a generally accepted one is that a match must have been seen at the ground. There are some formal organisations for groundhoppers, including The 92 Club in England, which consists of groundhoppers who have visited matches in all stadiums of the Premier and Football League. Now that the Trackable has been lost in Poland for the second time, I change my destination and restart as another copy.
Presumably jealousy and resentment about the German international football titles were involved here!

My new goal: I want to visit so many soccer fields / stadiums all over the world and send many, many pictures of them home!

Nachdem dieser Trackable vermutlich von einem Sammler collected wurde, schicke ich nun eine Kopie weiter auf Reisen!

Ich möchte alle bisherigen und kommenden Länder der Fußball-Europameisterschaften bereisen und irgendwann wieder nach Bayern zurück kehren. Vielleicht schaffe ich es noch im Jahr 2012 nach Polen oder in die Ukraine und komme als Europameister 2012 zurück!?
Über Fotos von Fußballstadien aller Art in den entsprechenden Ländern würde ich mich besonders freunen.

Wer nichts mit Fußball am Hut hat lässt mich einfach von Cache zu Cache reisen ;-)

I would like to travel around all present and coming countries of the football European championships and return sometime again to Bavaria. Maybe I come still in 2012 to Poland or in the Ukraine and come back as a European champion in 2012!?
I would be glad about photos of football stages of each type in the appropriate countries.

If you dont like soccer let me travel from cache to cache ;-)
