About This Item

Travelbug Friedrichshafen

This Travel Bug comes from Friedrichshafen, a city located direct at Lake Constance in South Germany. In 2011 the city has its 200. birthday. Friedrichshafen is best known  for the Zeppelins what are built there. One of the landmarks of the town is the Schlosskirche (Church of the castle), you see the outline with the travelbug.  Once a year there is a big childrens party called "Seehasenfest". Main person of this party is a big rabbit, look at http://seehas.ragestudios.de/. You see the outline of his head with part of the travelbug.

With no Internet access, we did not know what this travel bug wanted to do and decided to take it back home with us in Western Australia. A bit of a jump sorry but two states in two stops is not a bad start. Luckyly I did not send it back to Germany with my brother-in-law who was with us at Mossman Gorge!
