About This Item

Medallion

I tried to find the closest thing I could to a medallion. A little plastic $ coin should suffice. I like pictures!

Goal: If you find the actual coin geocache [trackable], go ahead and move it. If you find the card stock geocache [trackable] of the coin, please contact The Three Amigos and keep the TB until you hear from us. Thank you. My goal is to travel and see other famous historical spots. Please take me to a new cache.
Description: Hi! I'm First Council Medallion representing Lewis and Clark's famous council bluff, as described in the August 3, 1804 Journal entries from the Corps of Discovery. It was at this site that L&C had their first meeting with Native Americans after leaving St. Louis. This spot is in present-day Ft. Calhoun, Nebraska

Welcome to greensburg Ks famous for two reasons. In 2007 an f5 tornado hit this town and left 0 buildings standing. And a happier note it's also home to the worlds largest hand dug well. Dug in 1888. For the railroad and ranchers moving their cattle. It's 109 feet deep 32 feet in diameter

Grabbed this one today, from an old overgrown cemetery. Doesn't appear to be a "real"Travel Bug to me, but some sort of copy. Whatever 😛. I'll try to move along, soon.
