Řada 818 jsou lehké tříčlánkové motorové vozy určené pro provoz na místních tratích (tzv. lokálkách). V ČR jezdí na šumavských tratích, pod Krušnými horami i podél Českého Středohoří. Právě tam se vine Švestková Dráha. Na ní je provozuje společnost AŽD Praha, která je obecně na dráze spíše spjata se zabezpečovací a signalizační technikou. Z pohledu cestujících je to částečně nízkopodlažní vlak, který je ovšem unikátní prosklenou přepážkou oddělující strojvedoucího od cestujících, čímž je možné vidět dopředu na trať a na strojvedoucího.
Samotný TB je Turistická známka s motivem Švestkové dráhy s touto vlakovou řadou.

German and train class 654 consists of light articulated diesel railcars dedicated for light regiona railways. In Czechia it is operated on some railways mostly on southwest and northwest. On of those railways is Švestková Dráha (Plum Railway). There are operated by company AŽD Praha, which is more known for signalling and safety systems. From passenger point of view it is partial low floor train, which has quite special feature. Passenger and driver areas are divided by glass, and that makes possible to see driver and route in front of train.
TB itself is czech tourist souvenir with that train class on it.
