BROTHER/Veteran

This bug represents my Brother.  Its name is BROTHER/ Veteran.  It's attached to an army action figure.  He was a scout in Afghanistan.  He is partnered with another tb. (COUSIN/ Veteran).  My Brother Thad served 20 years in the Army.  He did a tour in Iraq in 1991 and in Afghanistan in 2007/2008.  He returned in 2008 and started a new journey in a combat Vet's life.  A year later he and I managed a benefit for our severely wounded childhood friend and Cousin(Cousin/Veteran).  When I was growing up I looked up to Thad because he could do no wrong in my eyes.  After he returned, I found him looking to me for strength and understanding.  Though i   accept him no matter what, It wasn't enough for him.  He has realized that even the strong need to seak help.  He is much better today.  Though emotional scars never heal, he continues to work at it.   His journey is not over. 

I,m dropping Thad off near Ft. Bragg NC along with Cousin/Veteran. Please take him to monuments, Legions, VFWs, VMWs, VVAs etc...  tell his story to other vets and non vets.  log on to tell us who he has met and where he has gone.  Eventually I would like him to make it back home near Jamestown NY ( Southwest NY).  Where I will get him home and give him a new mission. This mission represents Thad journey to overcome his emotional wounds and live a prosperous life with his family.
