Firth of Forth and I don't seem to be able to stay away from the Three Valleys - we've been to this part of the Alps for the past three years and I have been here many times before. But there is just so much to do - it truly is "le plus grand domaine skiable du monde". And such wonderful snow - a half metre of fresh snow at the beginning of our visit and almost as much again on the night of our last day.
There was another ski-in/ski-out cache nearer to Val Thorens where we were staying but it was unfindable in the deep snow. (One party spent a day there with a shovel but still didn't get to it!) So Jed's coin got a dip in a cache we knew from a previous visit at the other end of the Three Valleys.
