IN SEPTEMBER 2014, OUR TB HAS FLOWN AROUND THE WORLD. THROUGH EUROPE - AUSTRALIE - UNITED STATES - HAWAI AND CANADA, HE LANDED AGAIN IN EUROPE. WE HOPE HE CAN SEE MORE OF THE WORLD.
In the Geocaching logo on the tag at the TB is a ‘kiekendief’-bird. The ‘kiekendief’ is the logo of the province Flevoland in the Netherlands, the homebase of this TB.
‘Kiekendieven’ are birds of prey which in the Netherlands and Belgium three breeding bird species occur: the blue kiekendief, the brown kiekendief and the grey kiekendief.
The are distinguished by the other (day)birds of prey, because almost all are ground nesting birds, in other words, they do not nest in trees, but on the ground.

Discovered your TB sometime in the past couple years somewhere along my traveled path ranging from Michigan to the west coast and south as far as Georgia including everywhere in between. Perhaps it was at an event, found in a cache or in person. Yea... I know I need to log these better but up until now there was no good way to do it that wouldn't take hours. Kept the images of the TB's over time and figured some day when I had time I would catch up. Today is that day. Thank you for sharing your TB's, hopefully their journey has continued on to wherever it is they wanted to go.
