Current Goal

The goal of the Vietnam War Commemorative coin is to find its way into the hands of as many Vietnam veterans as possible and travel with them as they enjoy and experience geocaching. Also, it would be great for the coin to visit the final resting places of veterans and memorials dedicated to their sacrifices during the Vietnam War. If you are able, please post a picture of the veterans you know or meet along the way, shake thier hand, and say thank you. Take a simple moment to appreciate thier experience.

About This Item

This coin commemorates, recognizes, remembers, and honors those who have served. You were not treated with the respect and dignity you deserved after sacrificing a portion of your life in service to your nation. The complexities of politics and social impetus are often poorly reconciled. However, the veterans of the Vietnam War served in the face of the dangers they faced on the ground in Vietnam and suffered through the turmoil of returning home.

From me to you, thank you so very much for the sacrifices you made.
