John Paul is a trackable in memory of my late husband, John (1970 - 2007). He was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and graduated from South High School. John received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in structural engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He worked at HDR as a bridge engineer and preferred being out of the office working onsite. John was a Chicago Bear and Cubs fan even during the bad years; all of them. He enjoyed traveling, visiting local attractions and museums embedded with history, going to Korn concerts, reading Stephen King, and cooking homemade meals using produce from his garden. John loved being a family man and father. In the years since his passing, when I find myself thinking of him, I am almost always greeted by a butterfly.
