Saw this cute little guy and knew I had to take me with me! My boyfriend and I are taking a trip to the Bahamas in a week and a half, so we thought we might drop him off somewhere along the way! As asked here is one of my families recipes.
Steak and Noodles (serves 4)
1 box of noodles of your choice (I like bowtie)
2 cans of green beans
1 jar of mushrooms
12oz cubed breakfast steak (If they don't have breakfast get thinnest possible)
1Tbsp vegetable oil
6 beef bullion cubes
*Water
In a large pot saute cubed breakfast steak in vegetable oil until browned on all sides. Add water to the pot, barely covering the steak and add 3 bullion cubes. Boil water then cover and let simmer for at least 30 minutes. (They longer you let it sit the more tender it will be) In another large pot add water and 3 bullion cubes and bring to a boil. Add noodles and cook as directed. Once noodles are close to done (5 mins.) add green beans and mushrooms to the pot with the steak. Drain noodles and plate with steak, green beans, and mushrooms atop the noodles. I like to add the broth from the steak pan on top as well! Tada! I hope you like it!
