About This Item

boerenstel

We love the country side and want to look around at Lleyn's West End (GCG2C7). After that we want to return to our home town Utrecht in the Netherlands.
A visit to the cache The Long Arm of the Nene (GCHJ7T) would be nice.

don't forget: the couple is heading to the west of Lleyn Peninsula!!

The couple got separated from their log book in spring 2005. Efforts made to re-united couple and log book proved in vain. However, a new book was joining them in september 2005. Unfortunately, shortly after that event, the cache on the Nene was ripped and the original TB lost.
A copy of the couple resumed travelling in the summer of 2006, starting in Ireland, Killary Harbour.

As the weather was very bad on our travel from Ireland to Germany we had no time to have a stop in Wales. It was VERY windy (4 lorries were blown from the street on the distance Holyhead - London) and the speed was limited to 40mph all the time. So we couldn´t waste time because our ferry had to be reached. Now the couple is in germany and we will set them out asap so they can start their journey to WALES again.

01.04.04:
After a mail from the owner we will try the best to find the bug a possibility to have a hike to the island again. I will post another note if I know more.

25.04.04:
Today the bug was given to oa who will give him a hike to Great Britain again. So he doesn´t have to take the whole route from Germany again.
