Der Mischthoga
Es war einst ein Bauer in unserem Dorf, der sich genüsslich seine Pfeife anzünden wollte.
Da er jedoch kein Feuer zur Hand hatte, beschloss er kurzerhand seine Pfeife am ewigen Licht in der Kirche anzuzünden.
Da dieses recht weit oben hing, holte er es sich mit seinem "Misthaken" (Schwäbisch: Mischthoga) herunter.
Fortan wurden wir Dorfbewohner "Mischthoga" genannt.
Da unser "Mischthoga" seiner Arbeit allmählich überdrüssig wird, wollen wir ihn auf Reisen schicken, damit er etwas von der Welt sehen kann.
Once there was a farmer in our village who wanted to light his tobacco pipe. However, since he didn't have any matches at hand, he decided to light the pipe from the eternal light in the church. It was hanging very high up, so he brought it down with his dung hook (in a german dialect "Mischthoga"). From then on, we villagers were called “Mischthoga”.
Because our Mischthoga has become tired of his work, we want to send him on a journey to see the world.
