This travel tag would like to visit as many EarthCaches as possible all over the world!
I know you can't drop it in the cache but take it to any EarthCache you can and then pass it on through another cache for another cacher to do the same!
This Discovery Award Tag was given to me by geoawareCA after a workshop on EarthCaching. I had 93 EarthCaches found at the time so the Quartz Discovery Award was what I qualified for, the Mica Award will take another 7 finds,
Please move this along for othere cachers to enjoy!

Found this little guy in the Sculpture Garden. Visited with the family on this crisp day. What an awesome place! We had fun and will move this trackable to a cache we are placing real soon.

Off for the day with both boys home from college. Asked them if they wanted to go to lunch and they said ok, then I told them lunch was in Maine. Not much traffic leaving Plymouth MA day after Christmas, stopped at NH welcome station to grab two quick caches before heading to the Liquor store cache then onto ME. I did not mention caching since one of them might have said no, even to the free lunch had he known.
Nice that this cache had some of the sculpture work from the previous cache we had just stopped at. It would have been easy to go to the outlets and find a bunch of magnetic containers but then I would have missed this and the other two in Maine that were much fun. This cache location is now in my top 5!

Just updating Mr. Lamb on "Quartz's" whereabouts. He's still resting here where I last saw him.

Ok last one for "Quartz" on my part. It was hard to let go because I had so many plans for him as far as visiting more earthcaches, but one thing he taught me was respect for this Earthcache find award which must have required so much commitment and care over the years. Yet, I knew it was time to let go and wish him "onwards and upwards" with another adventurer. I'm posting one last picture that I took of him today partying with his fellow quartz crystals that Mr. Thomas at "The Sculpture Garden" implanted in a carved fish's mouth. Cheers!

finally got a chance to steal away from the packers in our house and introduce "Quartz" and my son to an old memory of mine: hurricane Isabel and the carving of Willoughby Spit.
