Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that we had discovered, I found that a large number of the TB codes on my “to discover” list were yet to be discovered. Most of the codes were spotted on Facebook, but Chembrat also shared her file of TB codes with me and this one may have been on there. Even though virtual discoveries are becoming less common, I hope that you will not delete my discovered log as I appreciate the opportunity to discover your trackables, even if is only on my computer screen.

While spending extra time with my mom, the other half of The Von Fanges caching partners, thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard which prevented me from traveling home as planned, we compared our caching statistics including trackables discovered/retrieved/grabbed, etc. I found a list of TB Codes that I collected from various Social Media sites and contacting TB owners during the COVID pandemic that I failed to actually discover. Hopefully, it isn’t too late to make a virtual discovery of your travel bug.
