April was the best caching dog ever! We lost her on July 18, 2019.
The mission for this geodog is to go caching.
April comes caching with me whenever I cache alone and will be in an area where she can take a walk. She even knows the word caching and is always ready to jump in the car.
We got April as a puppy at the humane society. She was listed as a Collie/German Shepherd. It was in April when our German Shepherd, Autumn, passed away. We were going to wait awhile before getting a puppy but 3 weeks after losing Autumn I went to the humane society to get a couple of kittens. After looking at the kittens I walked through the dogs and saw the litter of 8 puppies. The other puppies had white markings on them more like a collie. April was the only one without the white markings making her look more like a German Shepherd. I thought she was just perfect so I adopted her and took her home to my hubby. His only comment was that he thought I was going to wait longer.
When we were trying to come up with a name both my Dad and hubby suggested April without knowing what the other had said. We all agreed it was better than February, the month she was born.
