Long John's Irish Flag Tag 2

Greetings from Australia.

In 2011, I had a really enjoyable (but far too short) holiday in Ireland and I am looking forward to coming back again one day. Until I do get back there, I have sent off two Irish Flag Tags to travel around and check out some great places to visit (In 2013 when I sent this Tag off it was looking like that would be in summer of 2014 but that didn't happen).

The first one (Long John's Irish Flag Tag 1) I sent in October 2012 via The Germ Hole, a cache portal in Melbourne, Australia that deposited it in Germany with the objective of it getting to Ireland. By October 2013 it was still in Germany so I decided that I needed to send another one.

This one (Long John's Irish Flag Tag 2) I sent in October 2013 via Stargate P38147 (a cache portal in Sale, east of Melbourne, Australia) to Stargate P53006 in Ireland.

The Stargates turned out to be a rather inefficient method of travel as this Tag didn't finally land in Ireland until April 2014 when it appeared in the now archived Druid Valley cache, south of Dublin. From there it spent most of it's time travelleing around to the south of Dublin with a side-trip to the West Coast before going missing in late June 2014.

Having checked with the cacher that was listed as holding this Trackable, I have marked it as Missing. It has been lost somewhere...maybe near a cache...maybe not. That happens sometimes...and I can't complain as I have done it myself...dropping someone else's Trackable somewhere and losing it, that is.

If it is ever found and shows up, it can be put back into play...but until then it will stay MIA.
