NationalSteel on a Mission to Memphis

This is one of four identical travel bugs I am releasing near Sydney, Australia, in February 2012. I'm hoping that they will each reach a destination from a USA "Blues & BBQ" road trip I took in May 2012.  Regardless, I hope they clock up lots of miles and see lots of music-related things.

This was a highlight of our USA trip and definitely worth a visit!

In case you're wondering, this trackable is a guitar pick with a picture of a National Resophonic Style 0 resonator guitar.  These iconic "steel" guitars (usually nickel-plated bell brass in reality) have been used by everyone from Son House to Dire Straits and beyond.  I'm fortunate enough to own a 1932 one, which is where I take my username from.
