Maldives

Patch of flag of Maldives. The flag of the Republic of Maldives is red with a large green rectangle in the center bearing a vertical white crescent; the closed side of the crescent is on the hoist side of the flag. It was adopted on July 25, 1965. The red rectangle represents the boldness of the nation's heroes, and their willingness to sacrifice their every drop of blood in defense of their country. The green rectangle in the center symbolizes peace and prosperity. The white crescent moon symbolizes a state of unified Islamic faith.

Was happy to find this under the haystack fast asleep! Seems it's making it's way from Texas so I'll try to get it on the road to somewhere else. Glad I didn't find a cache to drop it in before I was able to read it's goal. If you don't mind I'll print your request and put it in it's bag. I can't afford 3G and wi-fi around here is few and far between! Will take care of it as soon as I find a place big enough to put it in. LOT of Micro's around here! In good hands until then. TFTB!
