EGYPT OR BUST!! The goal for this bug is to be photographed at the Pyramids in Giza, Egypt. After that (or on the way) it can be photographed at or with other pyramids, triangles, and the like, ancient or otherwise!
This is the fourth of eight travel bugs Santa brought Graham and Dean on Christmas 2011. The boys want to learn about famous places all over the world, and the Pyramid TB is the fourth to hit the road.
From Wikipedia: "The Pyramids of Giza consist of the Great Pyramid of Giza (known as the Great Pyramid and the Pyramid of Cheops or Khufu), the somewhat smaller Pyramid of Khafre (or Chephren) a few hundred meters to the south-west, and the relatively modest-sized Pyramid of Menkaure (or Mykerinos) a few hundred meters further south-west. The Great Sphinx lies on the east side of the complex."
Graham (6) and Dean (3 1/2) are interested in learning about the world through maps, geography, cultures, measuring and math. The Pyramids are approximately 5,690 miles away from our home in upstate New York; it will be interesting to find out how many miles the TB needs to travel to achieve its goal!
