A memorial in Belgium close to the border to Germany where a drama took place in the cold winter of 1944/1945. Even nowadays the fate of those being killed has left a feeling of sadness and it's hard to imagine...

Right in the middle of Bastogne (Nuts City) there is a memorial for General Patton... All the tiny villages around the town got destroyed in those dark days and the historic sites can easily be found 'cause of the series of these multicaches. Every single cache discribes the specific and sad story of the particular village and those fighting or being killed there. Very impressive and we learnt a lot about the history of this region.
