I would like to travel around the country and around the world seeing various bodies of water (lakes, rivers, streams etc.) when the opportunity arises.
I started my travels in the Mines of Spain State Recreation Area south of Dubuque, Iowa. The area is bordered on the east by the Mississippi River and Catfish Creek flows through it. While I am interested in traveling around the country or around the world, please post a note about other bodies of water that I encounter. Pictures would also be appreciated. If my future travels would bring me close to Dubuque again I would like to stop there for a visit.
