Alas, LITTLE TRAVELLER'S racing days are over!
His rival GLORIA THE TRAVELLING SPIDER (TB4KJN7)  made it all the way to the UK from South Africa but then (luckily [:D]) got lost on its way to London. So with no contenders left in the race, there is just no point in racing anymore...

 

NEW MISSION: 

Get LITTLE TRAVELLER back to the starting point at the TRANSATLANTIC cache (GC1PAQW) in Rotherhithe (LONDON, UK) for the last 2014 spring blossoms.

 

Previous Mission:
Get this LITTLE TRAVELLER trackable to the KAROO DAISY cache (GC3CFNX) in the Eco Park near Sasolburg (SOUTH AFRICA) before my brothers GLORIA THE TRAVELLING SPIDER (TB4KJN7) reaches the TRANSATLANTIC cache (GC1PAQW) in Rotherhithe (LONDON, UK).
 

About This Item

LITTLE TRAVELLER

A LITTLE TRAVELLER is a beaded object made in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, as part of the HILLCREST AIDS CENTRE TRUST project (I picked this one up at the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at a shop called OUT OF AFRICA).
 
Each little traveller is as individual and unique as the artist who creates them. 
 
Little travellers are making a positive difference in the lives of men and women affected / infected by HIV and AIDS.
By making little travellers, families have been fed, lights have been turned on, children have gone to school, water has poured out of taps but most importantly, hope has been restored.
 
Little travellers make their way around the world and South Africa spreading their message of love, faith and the strength to endure.

Retrieved LITTLE TRAVELLER from the River Lee : Tottenham Lock cache today (on my birthday!).
Thanks to all geocachers for taking him around the UK (and even further…), and special thanks to a7x_wall and hawleyscouts who made the pick-up possible.
His travelling days are not over though, LITTLE TRAVELLER will soon embark on a new mission…
