The legendary French author and pioneer of the science fiction genre, Jules Verne (1828-1905) wrote visionary tales of space, air, and underwater adventure. After reading the classic Around the World in Eighty Days to a group of third graders, we decided to send this little Hot Air Balloon on its own epic adventure to travel around the world to see exotic places & collect stories.
Please feel free to take pictures, let us know a little about the area this balloon is traveling thru, or any little travel stories. We will track the progress & hopefully learn a little about places we might never have known about or visited. jewelsverne
