My mission is to travel to all the United States and Canadian Provinces travel as many miles as possible in North American.
This little truck has been part of me and my travels since 1975.I was about 24 years old and started my trucking adventures. On this day in the city of Jersey City, New Jersey at a company called Inland Steel Container myself and my truck'in friends hauled 55 gal steel drums to customers in the north. Anyways we did so several years and one day a the front gate a little boy use to watch us so one day I went over to talk to him and after a while he and I became friends. Now out of this friendship he gave me this little toy truck and in time I got to know his family.
I'm 60 years old now and even though I lost touch I will always remember the little boy at the gate because of his gift to me. This little toy truck and me have been a couple of million miles together and I came realized that it was like the Grand Dad to what has become the Travel Bug. I have decided to give this little toy truck to a man I have known for a life time and am proud to call my brother in-law and with great cause he truely enjoys the hunt and the planning that goes with being a member of the geocaching community. He told me he would start it on a new journey and follow it's path and my hope someday is my little friend back then may come across it in the future. Wouldn't it be great...........
