Gillies Hill has an astonishing historical and natural heritage, as well as a large number of caches. Unfortunately, it is under threat of destruction. Please help if you can. Also, please keep this travel bug within Scotland.

Sorry to say I picked this TB up at the Edinburgh event I organised without checking its mission. It's moved a way south but I'll find someone heading back to Scotland. Sorry about that. Nice TB; thanks for sharing. I hope Gillies Hill is saved for future generations to enjoy.

Sorry for the late log. I discovered this at the Countdown to the Geolympix event in Edinburgh in March and just found the code on my iPhone. I've found a number of the Gillies Hill caches - it's a great location and very much worth saving.

Discovered at the countdown to the geolympix event #4 on the 7th of March 2012.

I wasn't sure if I should come to the geolypic event as I'm only part of the team (me and my partner usually cache together), and my partner had to work. But since I wanted to put some face to names I've seen and never attended a geocahing event before, I came anyway and do not regret it.

Not seen anyone before, but managed to put some faces to some famous cachers in Edinburgh which was really nice, and as well there were lot's and lot's of geocoins. Which I'll log in the next couple days hoping to get some more on the list.

Anyway, I hope the Geolympix become a success, and we'll make it down to Oxford if I possibly can, although July isn't the best time for us to try and make trips due to our worksituation. Also many thanks to Paul for a warm welcome and I hope you traveled safely back home.
