Your mission if you choose to accept it is to help this travel bug travel to adventurous places.
Just like the Explorer Scout Unit who this bug belongs to, who enjoy adventurous activities, this bug wants to go up mountains, visit glaciers, cross moor land, visit rivers and oceans and meet lots of other Scouts from across the world.
2012 marks the 10th birthday of UK Explorer Scouts. The badge traveling with the bug is worn by members of Explorer Scouts during the birthday year.
Explorer Scouts are 14-18 year olds and enjoy a whole range of activities from camping to climbing, cycling, canoeing etc.
Bude Explorer Scout Unit are helping to mark this birthday by sending out this travel bug. It would be great if it could meet fellow Scouters as it travels around.
We would also love to see pictures of the bugs travels.
