Travel around the World and visit mines (also historical) when possible.
Der Grubenmann worked for a long time in Ruhrgebiet's coal mines. But times changed, industry changed, and nowadays nearly all mines are closed. Some of them were turned into industry historical sites, like www.zeche-zollern.de in Dortmund - where nearby some relatives of that Grubenmann still live
- or www.zollverein.de in Essen, which is a World Cultural Heritage site. Our Grubenmann had even the chance to visit one of the world's largest mining museums in Bochum (www.bergbaumuseum.de).
And now he is ready to see the world himself. Please help him and take him near mining sites (not limited to coal), disregarding whether they are historical or active mines.
The Grubenmann's relatives back in Ruhrgebiet would like to see some pictures of his travel
