Android want's to visit Cape Town, South Africa. All he knows about South Africa he learned from Endless Summer and Endless Summer 2(Surf Movies). If he needs to go anywhere else while enroute, he's game. When he arrives in Cape Town we would like to get him back home. We will pay shipping.
If you have taken Android from a cache please move him along as soon as possible. If you don't understand how to log him through the system, just drop him in another cache. Thanks for your help.

We must apologize for kidnapping the Android TB for such a long time, but he did make it to Cape Town. He went on a photo safari at the Tshukudu Game Lodge and visited the Sterkfontein Caves, world heritage site considered the Cradle of Humankind where fossils of early man dating back 2.8 million years were found. Of course he also saw Johannesburg while in the area. While at Cape Town he visited the Cape of Good Hope, and Robben Island where Nelson Mandela spent so many years. He also visited the Dock Clock Tower in Cape Town originally the Port Captain's office but now a popular tourist shopping area.

I was surprised to find this guy in my cache in Phoenix, because another bug was logged as being there. Anyways, although I'm not going to S. Africa, I can keep him moving along. Lets get some miles logged!

Picked up Android at Mammoth Pumice Field. We were actually going to pick up the Red Rock canyon bug but someone beat us to it and we found Andy, our first bug. Funny, he's now with me at my desk in Lake Elsinore, near Temecula (where I think he started his journey). We'll leave him in Riverside or possibly Palm Spring or possibly Phoenix so he can be on his way to South Africa. We'll leave him this weekend, as we typically don't geocache during the week. Hope he doesn't mind the warm weather. It was nice and cool around 8,000 feet in the Eastern Sierras but around 100 degrees F here in the arid inland of Southern California.
