To travel the world (but the British Isles are still good) visiting mountains and Earthcaches.
Attached to the compass rose is a piece of rockclimbing equipment (minus the wire into which a karibiner and rope were clipped). Together with other similar, but different sized, "nuts" and "wedges" it formed part of my rack of climbing gear. Some of it dates back to the early 1970's. It's seen good service throughout the UK (including some of the classic rock and ice climbs in Snowdonia, the English Lake and Peak Districts and Scotland).
Although I'm still mountaineering (just!) my rock climbing days are pretty much over, so I'm sending off some of my gear to continue visiting the mountains on their own. It would be nice if occassionally a couple of pieces briefly reunited on mountain somewhere.
Any extreme caches or caches in mountains outside the UK would be a bonus.

Because I picked up this trackable while doing some mountain biking, I thought I'd drop it off where I 1st started mountain biking many years ago. Hopefully this will start off its trip around Ireland.

I had St Patrick's day off work. So myself and my girlfriend travelled from N.Ireland, to the 7 Stanes mountain bike park at Glentress for a long weekend of biking. Its a long climb up to the top of Spooky Wood. But we set the bikes down and headed off on foot looking for the cache. After a bit of searching and a few smacks in the face with branches, we found it.

Now high on a Scottish hill. At Glentress with muggle friends to ride Spooky Wood. Only cache on the route surprisingly. All downhill from here! Bud.

As a fellow rock climber and mountaineer, it will be a pleasure to move this little lifesaver on. Been out of the game for a few years myself due to getting married and having a little one, but one day, knees permitting.... Always got my memories on the Dent du Geant and the Jungfrau to look back on though. Will try to move soon. Bud.
