After the last geocaching finder on February 21, the cache was found by a muggle group on the 27th. They took it someplace then put it back. On the 28th, other muggles found it and also took it, home apparently. At some point (there's no date on their second note) for some inexplicable reason they decided that the right thing to do was to drop it someplace in Almaden Quicksilver park, several miles away.
The last note in the logbook is from a park ranger on March 5, when the cache was found in AQ. The rangers notified our local geocaching group (the GBA) liaison, Sammydee, who looked up the owner and saw that it was me. Sam & I are friends and he dropped it off to me, and it's still here at my house.
I'm guessing that one of the muggles took the TB, since one log mentions trading items. Hopefully they'll figure out what they have and put it back into a cache somewhere(!) but that may be a longshot.
