An addition to my Geo coin collection. This coin will stay in my possession.
This coin was designed to honour the Fire Museum of St Joseph, MO. Front is their Fire Museum Building which is a WPA built Fire Station. Reverse side has the tribute to the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. It also depicts the dalmation, Firefighter, and Fire Helmet for this station- Station #5. Also in the center of the back is a removable pathtag of the St Joseph, MO Maltese Cross showing the fire department was begun in 1865.
This Museum is a FREE ADMISSION Museum so all funds are obtained from donations of visitors and profits from the Gift Shop. This coin comes in the Limited Edition of Black Nickel finish (only 50 made) as pictured. It is a 2" x 1 3/4" coin. The trackable code and wording are on the top edge of the coin.
Ironically, the notice of delivery from the post office was at 9:11 a.m.
