Anubis, der Gott mit dem Schakalkopf, ist einer der wichtigsten Götter der ägyptischen Mythologie. Seine Hauptaufgabe bestand in der Überwachung der Balsamierung (Mumifizierung) der Toten und des Abwägens der Seelen bzw. Herzens beim Totengericht.
Auf der Rückseite ist die Stufenpyramide von Sakkara abgebildet, die vom Architekten Imhotep für den Pharaonen Djoser konstruiert wurde.
Anubi the god with the head of a jackal is one of the most important deities of the Egyptian mythology. His main duty was surveying the mummification and the weighing of the souls when the court over the death was held.
On the rear side there is a depiction of the pyramid of Sakkara which was constructed by the architect Imhotep for the pharaoh Djoser.
