Current Goal

This trackable has quite the history.  We released the original trackable into the geocache QUARTERS (GC1GVEB). A few short weeks later, that cache was supposedly lost in the Waldo Canyon Fire that devastated the Colorado Springs, Colorado area in June of 2012.  As we believed the trackable was lost, we made up a copy tag and released it, which is traveling around the world, meeting new cachers.

Then, in January of 2014, the cache was found safe and sound, and the trackable had survived.  As the copy tag was meeting cachers and moving from cache to cache, we managed to get the original tag back (THANKS to ernie66 and estes01) and have put it into our collection (on page 25), where it can be discovered at geocaching events.  We would like for the copy tag to keep moving from cache to cache, meeting new cachers along the way.

We received this white knight chesspiece in a grab-bag of trackables.  Not only do we enjoy playing chess, but we also like the Eagles – what a coincidence!  This trackable wants to meet new cachers and visit any cache, anywhere, so please keep it moving, and log where it goes on geocaching.com  Thanks !

Momentan arbeite ich gerade 2 1/2 Jahre Cachen und Knipsen von TBs unterwegs auf, daher erfolgt jetzt erst das Log.
Diesen TB konnte ich in meinen kurzen Verschnaufpausen während des Arbeitsdienstes auf dem "(Mega)Event am Meer 2017" in Bremerhaven erspähen und ablichten.
