Current Goal

Well, the Goal for this travel bug has changed. Thanks to SavagePenguin for helping me with this goal.
I would like to see it get to Sacramento California.
My daughter lives there and I would like for her to retrieve it when it arrives.
I had originally had a travel bug named "california bound" but it went MIA. SO, since this one made the long journey, again thanks to SavagePenguin, It seems appropriate to do so.

    • Honey the Bear, Myself, and the KY Leap Frog. I placed the Frog here, in a neat cache in the Hollywood hills. I told you I'd find a warmer place for the poor frozen frog. And besides seeing Wil Wheaton's autograph, he also got to meet Whinnie the Pooh. Is Hollywood great or what?

Retrieve It from a Cache 12/13/2002 SavagePenguin retrieved it from The Verdugo Park Cache California   Visit Log

I checked it in and out from the cache. I'll be sure to find a nice safe home for the frog before heading back to KY on Thursday.

    • It's Warmer Here I left the snow of KY, and took the frog to Los Angeles. It's a little warmer here. I didn't leave the frog at the site though. I feel it was too dangerous. People had vandalized the site on multiple days, so it's safe to assume they'd be back.

Retrieve It from a Cache 12/8/2002 SavagePenguin retrieved it from Geocache Kentucky   Visit Log

Brrrr! I took the frog on a snowy day. I actually had to dig the cache out of a snow drift. I'll see what I can do about warming the poor thing up.
Note: The tags fell off. I retraced the whole route and only found the plastic tag on the trail. After nearly giving up, and retracing my route several times, I found the metal tag in my jacket. It had fallen through a hole in the lining.
Evrything's OK, and I can't wait to replant the TB.

    • Lebanon Reservoir, KY Here's a picture of the frog at the Lebanon reservoir. As you can see, it was quite cold out.
