About This Item

Khan

Khan left Earth in 1996 aboard the S.S. Botany Bay. He has now returned to Earth to explore the history of Botany Bay. Please be cautious and keep Khan away from any genetic labs during his travels. If Khan encounters anything Star Trek related, please include it in your log (picture if possible).

Khan does not enjoy suspended animation, so please do not keep him too long.

Khan is being re-released with his copy tag (May 31, 2006).

Retrieve It from a Cache 8/7/2007 The Great-Gazoo retrieved it from 1950 Flood - the big splash Manitoba, Canada   Visit Log

Extracted TB tags from cache, but nothing was attached. Did see this figure in the cache, but did not realize there were associated. So sad. Fortunately, moved the TB to a cache <200m away, so the next finder can re-unite the TB tags and the Khan figure!

Discovered this guy in 1950 flood splash cache.

Discovered It 7/31/2007 The-Bloodhound discovered it   Visit Log

Found in 1950 Flood - the big splash. The travel bug seems to be all together and includes everything except for that one of "Khan's" legs has fallen off! I re-attatched the leg, fixing the problem.

Khan was hanging with the bees. As he had only been there a few days we left him to enjoy the cache. Happy Travels Khan!

I sincerely apologize for Khan's time in limbo (Ceti Alpha 5, or was it 6??!!). Haven't done a lot of caching since the dog passed away and the ones we did do were micros. Starting to get back into it now. Khan did have the opportunity to read several Star Trek books and watch most of the movies (I've got the complete set now) during his exile (including, especially, "The Wrath of Khan" which I did see personally, so he's loose again). I think he may be near the University of Manitoba's genetic lab now...oops. He's at least near the University's bee farm...Anyway, he's on his way again and I do apologize for his delay.

Retrieve It from a Cache 7/22/2006 dogwalkers2 retrieved it from Last of the Manitoba Ents Manitoba, Canada   Visit Log

Picked up Khan from the Manitoba Ent. Hoping to avoid his wrath! I just finished reading the couple of books about the Eugenics Wars a couple of months ago, so I'll lend them to him so he can relive his memories and advise on their historical accuracy. If you haven't read them, they start with his birth and end with his departure on the Botany Bay. Lots of good cross stories with Gary Seven and Roberta and the couple that met Quark, Rom and company at Roswell, etc. I recommend the books.

Khan had some problems with his cryogenic chamber, so I'll have to do some maintenance. He'll be on his way shortly.

Thanx, Tony
