Current Goal

Polar Explorer has gone missing. It is very sad to lose our travel bug. He has been travelling so far and so long, we were hoping to have him come home. We may be lucky and he will appear somewhere. If not, we can only hope that he makes someone happy.

Polar & Solar

Polar and Solar were born in the Museum of Civilization in Hull Quebec. They were weaned in Port Elgin, Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron during one of the snowiest winters on record.

We found polar bear and took him to the Netherlands.
He is in excellent condition and sends his love to his owners and brother Solar bear.

To entertain Polar the Explorer during his stay with us, we took him to Quebec City this weekend. We took this photo of him at this very interesting virtual cache! Polar seemed happy to explore the charming architecture within the old city walls, but like us, would have preferred snow instead of rain. 😉

We will be holding on to Polar Explorer for a while, but it will be worth it: he is going to celebrate the New Year north of the 63rd parallel, near the Arctic Circle! We will set him loose at his Nordic destination afterwards.
