This colorful little parrott wants to see the world. He has wings to help him fly and a keychain to make him easy to hang onto. Please take pictures so my hatcher can live vicariously through me.

We logged Toucan into this cache to record the mileage but the cache can't hold him, so we're taking him back to the states to place into another cache.

We took Toucan and the Mr. Wonderful TB to Cozumel with us for their first international travel. Toucan got picked for the full search when entering the airport. Not wearing any shoes made it go a little quicker though. :-)

We logged the TB into a cache down there that was not large enough to hold it to track the mileage and will drop it off here in the US next weekend.

  • New Friends at lunch This was taken from our table at Coconuts bar on the east side of Cozumel. There's no electricity over there, so they run the stereo using a car battery.
  • Getting Cultured The TB's accompanied us on a tour of some Mayan Ruins. This is Ixchel's Altar.
  • Lounging in Paradise We had to stop in Paradise (Paradise Cafe, that is) for a couple cold ones in a hammock on the beach. The bugs are not old enough, so we didn't let them partake.
  • Southern Lighthouse This is the lighthouse at the southern tip of Cozumel. Now that I think about it, the bugs were at the top of it about 15 minutes before the picture was taken.
  • Beautiful Scenery We took this picture at one of the places we stopped along the east side of the island. Amazing scenery down there.

We're headed to Northern VA next weekend for a wedding and will drop the little guy off up there after taking some pictures somewhere.

(5/18): Edited the log to say that we felt VA was too boring for Toucan, so we're taking him along to Cozumel, Mexico on our mini-vacation this weekend (thur-sun) to let him see some of the world. We'll place him in a cache there to record the mileage, but retrieve him and bring him back to the states to leave somewhere for good, as the caches there are mostly micros. We'll get some good pictures for you.
