I picked up this army geocoin and also a navy geocoin today. Bless all those who maintain our freedom!

My Dad was in the army in WW II. When he joined, it was his first time away from home. He returned four years later, never having gotten a furlough to visit home since the day he joined. He was primarily in North Africia and in Italy as far as we know. Back then much information was secret and communications were censored.

I grew up in Louisville so we were used to seeing Fort Knox soldiers in town. We often went to the base to see the Patton Museum.

Let's see where this trackable will go next. I'll take it home to Indiana as a start.
