Sunny is tired of the long cold winters in Canada, and feels that it is "time" to visit as many sunny destinations as he can. Sunny should always move towards the equator, if possible.
The Explorer Sun Dial.
How to get Sunny to tell you what time it is. Refer to the illustration.
1. Open by pushing the inner ring to the back, pressing close to the bar (gnomen).
2. Hold the inner rings and adjust for latitude by moving the outside pointer to the appropriate number.
3. Suspend the dial and turn the higher end of the gnomen to the North. Now the gnomen is in line with the earth's axis and the inner ring with the equator.
4. The shadow of the gnomen falls on the inner ring showing the hour.
5. For Daylight Savings Time, add one hour.
