This little poppy flower would like to travel from cache to cache. It is well suited for placement in microcaches.
The California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) became the state flower
of California in 1890. It is native to the western United States. It can be
found growing in grassy and open areas from sea level to ~2000m. The four petaled
flowers are 4-12 cm across. The plant can be found blooming from February to
September.
