When my husband and I married, we planned to take a trip/cruise to Australia for our 5th wedding anniversary. As happens with many, we didn't have the money at the time. We had out 8th anniverary last November and are approaching the 10 year mark of being together this May. As a way to be able to "travel" for our anniversary since we couldn't do it, we're sending a picture of ourselves with a Cache Buddy of some significance to us.
Our main goal is that our Cache Buddy and picture make it to Australia; anywhere and everywhere in Australia. We would LOVE if our fellow geocachers would be willing to take pictures of our picture and our Cache Buddy at each destination in Australia (or whever "we" travel). One of our favorite places to go is the beach, so we'd love some pictures there!
Our secondary goal is just to travel around a bit on the way to and from Australia, with our picture and Cache Buddy hopefully making it back to Tucson, Arizona to us!
Our Cache Buddy is a Thunderbird, which is of personal significance to my husband. We've also attached a picture of ourselves so that we get to "travel" around, sort of. :)
