Cachekinz - Prehistoric Series

Mammuts lebten vor 135.000 -11.000 Jahren in weiten Teilen Europas, Asiens, Afrikas und Nordamerika. Es bevorzugte offene
Landschaften und war an die Hartgras- und Strauchvegetation und Steppentundra angepasst. Aus diesem Grund besiedelte es
überwiegend Flachlandregionen und Niederungen, kam aber auch in Hochlagen und  gebirgigem Gelände vor, mied jedoch weitgehend Wüstengebiete. Besonders häufig trat es in wasserreichen Arealen, wie Flusstälern oder Seeufern auf, aber teilweise auch in stärker  bewaldeten oder parkähnlichen, steppenartigen Biotopen.
Ich möchte den Spuren meiner Vorfahren folgen.

landscapesand was adapted to the hard grass and shrub vegetation and steppe-tundra. For this reason, it mostly populated lowland regions and lowlands, but was also found in high altitudes and mountainous terrain, largely shunned desert areas. Particularly frequently appeared in water-rich areas, such as river valleys and lake shores, but sometimes also in more wooded and park-like, steppe-like habitats.
I want to follow in the footsteps of my ancestors.
