Current Goal

I am in a contest with my sister to visit the most cities and neat places as possible before returning home to my family.  We have been watching his progress daily for a long time now so we're hoping to call this contest and get him back to home to be reunited soon.  If he can make his way back to GC49QW2 or vicinity we will go retrieve him.  Thanks for everyone that helped him along the journey!

My Buddy Travel bear

My name is Aaron and I am 6 years old and live in Washington, DC. I enjoy geocaching with my family, and my daddy plans to release Travel Bear as far away from home as possible and see how many great places he can eat honey before eventually returning to the United States. I would love photos of Travel Bear showing the places he visits or people he meets. I will be competing against my big sister Kaitlyn to see who had the best trip and most cities, so please have a lot of fun with Travel Bear but keep him moving. Thank you and I look forward to following his journey home.

Wow, after a journey of more than 6 years, 4 continents, and the equivalent of 5.2 trips around our planet, Aaron's Travel Bear is finally reunited!!! Thanks so much to all the hands it passed through, and especially thanks to HikeVirginia for helping it finish it's mission. To drive home how long this journey has been, attached is a photo of him releasing it into the wild, and a comparison of him picking it back up :)
