About This Item

DESERT TORTOISE

The only rules are that the TB must make at least 1 cache stop in each city of all the TB owners [1. Centennial, CO, 2. Colorado Springs, CO and 3. Flagstaff, Arizona (in any order)] then finally go to the West Quoddy Head Light House at Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec, Maine, take a picture and log it on the web TB page. Once there it would like to move back to a later designated cache in Colorado. Please help DESERT TORTOISE win the race and eventually make it back to Flagstaff.

My deepest apologies. I picked the bug out of the cache with the best of intentions. But things happen. Here it is early in November and the slow desert tortoise sits here near my computer .. forlorn .. rested and needing to move on. I am at last ready to help him move toward the far off Maine. Tomorrow we leave for Texas. I will place him in a suitable place with proper instructions for the next cacher to give him a ride.

We took Desert Tortoise for a ride through Flagstaff so he could wave at his friends as he traveled down Route 66.
Dropped him off on Interstate 40 East Bound. Hopefully the next cacher can keep him on a straight line to the East Coast and avoid these circles he's been going in.
