TFTC! 🙂 Having planned to do some caching in the afternoon after attending a morning class, I had gotten a parking permit for the restricted parking lot on Montebello Road. This was one of my finds.

I started hiking at 2 pm and returned to my car at 8 pm, enjoying a nice long afternoon of hiking and caching among the spring wildflowers, bunnies and deer. I even saw a (another) rattlesnake. The skies were hazy, but I still enjoyed the views.

This was the last cache of the afternoon. I really underestimated how much time and effort this was going to take to hike down from Monte Bello Road and back. By the time I got back to the car after including this cache in the day's hunt it was sunset. Still it was satisfying to get another Terrain Challenge find! SL 50sumtin
