We are temporarily disabling BASS LAKE cache as it is a difficult trail to begin with with the tree roots, moss, rocks, and pine needles on top of the rough terrain. This becomes treacherous footing when combined with fallen autumn leaves and rain and snow. Also, hunting is almost upon us and you need to wear blaze this time of the year to walk this trail. It will be up and running in spring of 2004. We feel honored that BASS LAKE CACHE was designated as a difficult level cache. We will get the coin to another difficult cache so it doesn't sit around all winter.

I don't know if I can find a cache that is more difficult, but I will try. Going to the BWCA this week and I will try to find one up there that is at least a difficulty rating of 4 stars.
